David Walliams dropped by book publisher.

The author

Best-selling children's author and TV personality David Walliams has parted ways with his publisher HarperCollins UK, the company has said.

A spokesman for the company stated: "Following a thorough review, and following the appointment of its fresh leadership, HarperCollins UK will not be releasing any new titles by David Walliams."

Media sources suggest that the conclusion was reached following an investigation into claims about conduct deemed unsuitable directed at female individuals.

The firm declined to specify the specific rationale behind the move, stating: "It is not our policy to discuss private personnel issues."

A Prolific Literary Career

Walliams ranks among Britain's most prolific writers for young readers, with sales exceeding in excess of 60 million copies worldwide in dozens of tongues.

His inaugural foray into kids' literature, *The Boy in the Dress*, was published by HarperCollins fifteen years ago.

Some of his works, including *Gangsta Granny* and *Billionaire Boy*, have found new life as television films.

He has published in excess of 40 works in total, which features a holiday title titled *Santa & Son*, which was released through HarperCollins this past October.

Television and Literature

His career breakthrough occurred on the television comedy show *Little Britain* and has been honored with National Television Awards for his role as a panelist on *Britain's Got Talent*.

He received an OBE several years ago for his services to philanthropic and artistic endeavors.

This development follows the naming of Kate Elton as HarperCollins UK's recent CEO this past October.
